    I'm looking for a digital image of a propaganda poster from the Nazi regime, or the Maoist communist regime (pretty sure they encouraged kids to spy on their parents as well), or even the Khmer Rouge would be fine, that tells the children to report on their parents' activities that go contrary to the interests of the party. Googling isn't working very well, so someone post a link on here if you can find such a poster, please. Thanks Thanks Don, but that's from the British subway system. I unfortunately need specifically a poster getting kids to snitch on their parents. There must be some floating around considering how well documented other Nazi/Soviet propaganda is but they just seem impossible to find : [

    Basically, I'd like to get my hair a little colored and also get my lip pierced. Yeah, it doesn't exactly seem like anything reasonable for a parent to say yes to, but seriously, it's my body and if I want to "screw it for life," let me, will you? My mom's not so hot on the idea of lengthening the leash with me, most likely because she thinks she can't handle me any longer, compared to how easy it was to raise my sister. But I'm completely stable. Honestly. And what? Changing my hair a little and getting a piercing is going to turn me psychotic? Not likely... What more can I do to get her to let me choose my image and my life on my own? For my hair, I'd like to get a little tinge of purple, at least. I'd like a little more freedom than that, but I'd settle with it if I have to. Her reason for not letting me do so is that it'll destroy my hair. But I only want to do this ONCE, I swear. And if I don't like it, I can cut my hair and start all over, right? She dyes her hair almost every month (gray hairs, though, so I understand) and her hair seems fine. And a piercing... Well, no one in my family has any piercing beside one in each ear, so getting this may be tougher than coloring my hair. Her reason for not letting my is religious, though, so it may never be a possibility at all. She said the Bible says only slaves have piercings... I've tried countering this by explaining that's why there's God to help those slaves, blah blah blah... But she's pretty hard-headed- where I can my personality from, although she refuses it. She's explained how I can dye my hair when I'm older, moved out, graduated college, have a great job, a respectable, perfect family, but come on... With all that, do you think I'd want to color my hair anymore? Moreover, do you actually think I'd get all that? Anyways, she said if I ever get any piercings other than one on each ear, she'd disown me, and I'd be the disgrace of the family, except I think she'd be the only one to resent me.

In today's society it's very hard to find a movie that truly scares you, especially in today's desensatized community (hence the shock value ).     By accepting a specific religion, is it really God we're accepting or is it a widely accepted definition we're applying to Him? If God is humanly impossible for us to understand, why would a true religion work to create an image of who He is? If a person refuses to put faith in the authors of the Bible, does that necessarily mean that they reject God? Wouldn't they only really be rejecting a specific definition of Him that you've already accepted?

    When you go to a website with url?s or pictures it says that its downloading the image. Im guessing that the image is stored in a temporary folder stored on your desktop/harddrive. Does anyone know where the default folder that stores these images is? (or even better how do you clean your comp up from the downloaded images)

    That made your brain hurt? That blurred your vision? This stupid painting I finished last night was doing all of the above to me. I suppose it was the combination of the ?eye chart? or ?color blind test? colors. That, plus I was playing with some new fluorescent acrylic paints. Was it the fluorescent paint or the red against green and blue that made my eyes blurry? (As always, you can keep clicking on the image to enlarge it to full screen if you wish.) Kara, there is only three colors in this painting: red, blue and green. The illusion of puple is the effects to the three colors working against each other I suppose. And, yes, I really did want to know if the color combinations were causing all the eye strain. I rarely ever get headaches of any kind. And, yes, it's also nice to get feedback on art. All artists welcome such feedback I'm sure. There was easily more that one reply here that deserves a 'best' answer but, as you know YA only allows for one so-called ;best' answer. So please don't feel slighted if your reply wasn't selected.
