In my root folder, I have 2 includes that I include on every page. It works good on the pages that are in the same directory as the includes, but when I try to include the 2 files in a page that is in sub directories, it doesn't work. Works : www.domain.com/index.php Doesn't work: www.domain.com/ tutorials /ps/psd /psd. php How do I make it work? I have tried that .htaccess thing that some people suggested in other questions, but it didn't work. My site is hosted on www.1and1.com, so I don't have my own server. I don't want a way to get around the problem, I want it fixed! Thanks! :)

I currently have a dual-boot setup on my laptop. I want to completely format and free up that partition that's devoted to Fedora. So I need some help doing so SAFELY. Currently, my laptop has one physical HD: C: (used by Fedora, and not visible under Windows XP) D: (contains system directory of XP) E: (spare) When I turn on my laptop, it'll go to a boot menu, allowing me to choose between Fedora and XP, the default being XP. The boot menu has a Fedora background, so it's something that Fedora provides. The D: drive (containing windows system directory), has these files under its root: which I assume are important: D:\ntldr D:\boot.ini D:\ntdetect.com Here's the content of the boot.ini: [boot loader] timeout=20 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP" /fastdetect Can I get a list of easy steps to format C:, without screwing my windows xp boot. ( I don't want to end up not able to boot) To reply to the 1st answer below: Yes my windows system files are on D:. But right now, the boot menu I see is a Fedora boot menu. So if I just format my C:\ partition where Fedora is, it'll remove that boot menu and its related config, and wouldn't that cause my machine to be unable too boot? That's my biggest concern.

The thing is, after i've downloaded something (for example, A Doom 3 mod), it opens with windows media player, I just want it to go in an empty folder, When I try to empty the "Open With" List I don't know how to change it, I do but, I don't want to open it, because the thing with Doom 3 mods, You NEED to put it in an empty folder, then transfer it to the Doom 3 directory, even my sister is annoyed by this, when she tries to download her files, it happens. HEEEEEEELP! Unfortunately, when I did what Bern told me to do, i saved it under "Documents", but after it was saved, it had the "Windows media player" picture next to it, I just want it to not open with anything, like the first time i told a program to open with something, now everything i download opens with it, I dont want it to! HEEEEEELP!!! (Again)

I have an iPod nano. I just bought one other day. I try to put my music in it and it doesn't display it in the iPod window and I can't get it to play. It shows no music available. Should I put my music in a special "Folder" or just in the whole drive directory. Am I using the wrong music file types? I am using a regular "MP3" file I downloaded off the interent a long time ago. we have to setup in windows server 2003 for my server class a download directory for all users for when they download files on internet explorer 6 that the files download directly to the specified folder we set. We have done that and made it where it pops up when saving and it is set to save in the specified network folder, but then it allows the user to click in the save as box a different destination and thats what we need blocked, we would like it to just auto start the download and not even ask the user where to save the file and have it just save to the folder we have set.

I am new to the whole webmaster 'thing' so, bare with me. I recently uploaded my HTML file containing my website as well as the image files that are to appear on the website. When I type in my new domain in my browser, only an index page comes up listing the files I uploaded under a 'parent directory'. I contacted support for the host (a host I paid for) and they told me I was to upload them in the correct order??? Is this the case, or am I ignorant and the files will take some time to appear over the web? I just assumed that once the site was published that it would just simply appear in my browser. Someone PLEASE to be helping me???!!! The URL is bondagesites.biz (an adult site) so, if you're under 18, please to not be viewing it...LOL. And, in response to the question in regards to ownership of these photos-they are advertisement tools allowed to anyone when they sign up for respective affiliate programs for the express purpose of generating revenue for a site through advertising. Hi, I'm currently stuck in this ftp problem. Normally I just type ftp at the command line, but now I have to implement it in a code. Basically I have to transfer a .txt file from a server for example, let's say hkhpdv13 in the folder of /home/sap/ftp to another server hkhpdv15 in the folder /home/sap/ftp/text I want to know how to transfer a file if it switches from one server to another. As well as how do I know if the file transfer was successful or not, is there a code in there? basically I have to go to this server, enter user name and pass and go to directory get the file and paste it to another server with a different user name and pass and paste it inside a directory

Whenever I put music on my microSD card it only fills it up about half way then I get a message "cannot copy ______: The directory or file cannot be created." It's a 2GB Polaroid MicroSD. Is it a problem with the card or the way I'm putting music on it? I just drag and drop into the card's directory. On my phone it shows it still has a bunch of empty space.

this is what i got when trying to log on its never done this before.ive redownloaded java and checked for updates and played as undefined.undefined laggs.just how do i create a new directory using vista. Error_loader_nocache - Unable to create cache directory. Runescape was unable to find a suitable place to store its temporary files. To solve this please either: Login to your computer as an 'administator' user, and then try loading RuneScape again. This should give it sufficient access to create its temporary cache. Or, create a new directory called c:/rscache or /rscache. If possible, set that directory to have full read+write permissions so that all users can write to it. Runescape should then detect that directory and use it for its files. If you are unable to do either of the above, then as a last resort you can tell RuneScape not to store any files on the harddisk. I've tried Yellowpages.com and CitySearch but there are a lot of listings that aren't really what I'm looking for like Kars for Kids, YMCA, and churches. I know they're technically non-profits but other non-profits I've come across weren't in those directories so I stopped filtering through them.

So here's my dilema... I dont live with my parents anymore right because my dad left when i was younger and i dont really talk to my mum since i moved out. However...I would like to get in touch with my Father because i think i need to find out about that part of my life. Im not sure where to start though really plus my siblings have said they wont talk to me again if i get intouch with him. I have a couple of numbers i got from online telephone directories but i cant seem to get the guts to call them and see. They might be the wrong person...or he might not want to know...or most scary he might and what type of trouble will that cause!? What would you do...? Oh also you should know...my i have a different father to my other siblings...and erm i didnt mention it to them as such, it was more a passing remark because my mum brought it up. Its all rather complex you see. passing comment that they wouldnt talk to me if i did that is...thats why not actually told them properly that was thinking about it.

Ok so heres the issue. We developed a massive web-based tool for a customer of ours and it originally was developed with built in authentication(unsecure) they asked us to implement server authentication which we did through creating local user accounts which we tied to a local user group which had access to specific items including the database. We sent them incremental versions and had no response. Finally today we sent them the final product and they come back saying they use Active Directory on thier servers...problem is, I have no idea how Active Directory works and we also dont have a machine setup with Active Directory for test. Does Active Directory still work the same way with users and groups? Basically all that has to be done is a group has to be created that is then given permissions to the folder hosting the application. It also is added to the MSSQL users list to give the group access to the database. Application: Windows Server 2003 MSSQL ASP/VbScript

Hello all, I have been working to run an autorun for my USB so that when anyone double-clicks on my USB from "My Computer", they will be taken to one folder in the USB, and not the root folder.
